Misspelling in page title edit

The name of this product is "Miniket" with an E, but the title of the page is misspelled. But I don't know how to fix it. 71.232.72.39 (talk) 16:42, 26 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

More info about this product line because I can't find good sources edit

More models: — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chramos2007 (talkcontribs) 21:09, 30 December 2023 (UTC) Going off of the scanned manuals found on dozens of random sites, there's the VP-M102/M105/M110, VP-MM10S/MM11S/MM12S and VP-M2050S/M2100S/2200S, then there's the SC-M102/M105/M110, SC-MM10S/MM11S/MM12S, and SC-M2050S/M2100S/2200S which appear to be the same as the previous two but with differences for other markets (the different numbers just indicate how much storage being either 256MB, 512MB or 1GB). There's certain manuals that indicate models with added suffixes but I'm unsure what they mean or what's different like SC-M105S. There's manuals in Mandarin, German, Spanish, French and English, and they include different international symbols for copyright and safety and whatnot so it's somewhat safe to assume it wasn't sold only in Australia.Reply

There's also Sports versions of them, being the SC-X105L/X110L and VP-X105L/X110L being equivalents of the VP-M102/M105/M110 (no M102 counterpart?), and SC-X210L/X300L and VP-X210L/X300L as equivalents for the SC-MM10S/MM11S/MM12S and VP-MM10S/MM11S/MM12S. They have this sort of rubberized waterproof coating instead of the silver / shiny looking plastic of the other models. The Sports ones have some of the Miniket branding removed for exchange of Sports branding (ad which features mixed branding https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04nxDMEkrB8) but they're practically identical, parts are interchangeable between equal Miniket and Sports models and the Sports ones came with the same driver discs as Miniket models in certain markets.

However the Sports models had extra features and accessories in the box being able to capture Composite video through the headphone jack with special cables, and an extra external camera that would connect to the main device through the headphone jack as well and send Composite video (on either the camera itself or a cradle if it comes with one), and things for sports like helmet mounts and a bigger protective case for everything. I know some of these differences because I happen to own the SC-M105S, SC-X105L and SC-MM10S and also went through online manuals for them as mentioned.

The Miniket versions seem to have sold less and are hard to find, likely due to the cameras being ~$1000 new back when they launched around 2004 or 2005 as Miniket. The Sports versions are more abundant since they launched for about £470 (cant find prices in USD)

Here are the few articles I could find on cameras in this line that seem decent:

It'd be appreciated if someone could find good sources and edit the article to include all this. Chramos2007 (talk) 10:10, 30 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm also wondering if there's even more devices in this line that are just that obscure because the article has actual sources for the Miniket VP-MS15 and not once has it come up when I was trying to find cameras in this line, even when writing this, and I only just noticed it was there when reading it again. This random sketchy site mentions two other products meant for the Miniket line that I can't find other mentions of online - the VP-MD1100 and VP-PAPXX, with the VP-PAPXX seeming to be some sort of multimedia tablet device? The Internet archive is a bit of a pain to go through and I can't find either models on the old Samsung site. Chramos2007 (talk) 10:29, 30 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Stuff about it being a phone? edit

If you google "Samsung Miniket" the article comes up as being about a mobile phone. The infobox also says its an infobox for phones and I'm not sure how to fix this because the Miniket line is meant to be camcorders? Chramos2007 (talk) 22:08, 30 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
