Not sure if all Rogers phones are supposed to be locked such that they reject initializing FIDO sims as well - Rogers owns Fido, and they use the same towers, but it is operated as a seperate carrier. I have used at least one other rogers phone that will not accept my Fido sim. However, the Captivate Glide I was shipped end Aug 2012 DOES work with a fido sim.
