Photo? edit

If someone would take a one or two photos and upload them to illustrate this article, that would be great. Without a picture it is hard to image what this area looks like. Thanks, Invertzoo (talk) 15:23, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merge? edit

I see there's a separate Samphire Hoe article - the two could probably be combined. Le Deluge (talk) 10:56, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the two could be combined. Will do this next week unless someone objects with a valid reason. I suggest we just keep the name as the simple Samphire Hoe. RuthLivingstone (talk) 20:31, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I agree, and as Samphire Hoe is the older of the two articles, there is also justification there. I would suggest having a separate headed section for the Country Park. Regards  Velella  Velella Talk   21:29, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
As the creator of the article thought I'd better chip in. Seeing that both articles are quite short makes sense. Try and keep as much info that I put in as possible though :-) Cls14 (talk) 08:43, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Will do. Your article is more complete than the other one (in my opinion), so I will make sure we migrate everything significant. But please do feel free to edit the other page if you just want to get on with it. RuthLivingstone (talk) 15:43, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Nice one. Once you've done it and if I get a spare minute or two I will take a look. Not to comment on what you've done, just to check it and see if I can find anymore info not on either page :-) Cls14 (talk) 12:41, 1 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Article name edit

According to both the official website, the local tourist board and pretty much every other source out there, it's just "Samphire Hoe" and not "Samphire Hoe Country Park". WP:Common names would seem to encourage us to move this article to Samphire Hoe (over current redirect). Any thoughts? --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 17:06, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

After 14 days, with no comments, I have submitted a move request.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 22:27, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
After 14 days, you can be bold, and move it yourself. Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The joy of all things (talkcontribs) 23:23, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
No, it was moved over a redirect, which is beyond my user rights.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 09:22, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
