Article name

Shouldn't this article be at the English name Samogitians? Olessi 21:00, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

Žemaičiai → Samogitians – Samogitians is the English translation of the Lithuanian name of this ethnic group.

Please, samogitians, instead of some misleading, then how explain this samogitian language and nation's table? Please, write normal article about yourself, about your culture, about your character, about your type of wooden churches, about your chapels and so on. --82.135.217.207 13:44, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Could you explain, please, what value brings this piece of 17th-century map with mentioning that “In 16-17ct Samogetia covered a large part of today's Lithuania” (as it is still now, but to a lesser extent) to the article about Samogitians? — Glebchik (talk) 13:21, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

I see little point of this maps as it shows a part of land. So I have no objection removing that picture. On anther hand the cap of the picture was indeed bad, as to some it may seem not a "large"but "small", therefore unnecessary POV. M.K. (talk) 17:09, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
