I know the owner of the page who lives in Paarl. I have altered the text. I live in Pretoria now known as Tshwane.

I have found the following link, the web site hasn't been updated recently, but the basic info is still the same. I am visiting the museum next week end, and will try to get the curator to write something for this site. http://www.nfi.org.za/sammy/about.htmlMaggiedj 08:37, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
What’s this all about? The section “Sammy Marks tickey” contains the strange sentence “He was awarded the Jewish Cross for his services to his race and was subsequently beaten to death.”
