I am proposing that this page be merged to Recognition of same-sex unions in Mexico#Quintana Roo. There is little difference in the content on each page, so it is best to eliminate redundancy. If the section about Quintana Roo grows to be to large for the main article, I would not object to it being recreated as a separate article. West Eddy (talk) 03:18, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

I see no problems. One observation that may be valid is the need to preserve historic record. Ref [marriage in Alagoas] - as legal status is changing from state to state rather than country wide, It may be appropriate to provide a table showing each state / status /date as a fast reference which is easily updated. Simple observation on how to deal with a fast changing legal issue. Does not compromise neutrality ect. just allows rational updates and expected maintenance.
