• I don't see the point, to be honest. I've performed a search of "Samantha Ruth Prabhu" and all sources (Times of India, IBT, BS, etc.) refer to her as such. Nobody seems to call her just Samantha, and why would they? There are millions of Samanthas in the world, and it would be extremely confusing to call her just that. As for Samantha (Indian actress), there must be plenty of other Samanthas that are actresses over there. I don't understant this whole affair; the hatnote at the top of the article already clears up any doubts about the relevant naming conventions. It is enough as it currently stands. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't appear to have produced a single source showing the actress is referred to mononymously in reliable sources, and especially none have been produced since the name change. In addition to that, this article is a BLP and how she wants to be known must come into consideration especially in debatable cases such as this. Alright then, is "Samantha (actress)" a better option? Because it reveals 1,95,00,000 results, in comparison to Samantha Akkineni's 8,89,000 results. @Kailash29792: The more correct version - "Samantha Ruth Prabhu": 39,70,000 hits, "Samantha actress": 1,37,000 hits, "Samantha Akkineni": 2,68,000 hits. I can't link them because Wikipedia software breaks the urls, since it is searched using speech marks (see Tip). Another thing is that while Samantha (actress) should continue to redirect here per page views, it should not be the title of the page as there are tons of actresses at Samantha.
