editRossFC, can you help establish that he meets WP:NSPORTS or WP:GNG? Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 20:12, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
Flickerd, if you are sure it doesn't meet the notability guidelines, you should probably consider prod or AfD. Boleyn (talk) 20:13, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
- Boleyn, I did consider AfD when I first saw this page, but I wasn't sure if I was being too rash. The general procedure for when AFL player's articles are created is after they have played their first game (which is in the notability guideline Wikipedia:Notability_(sports)#Australian rules football), however, some users were a bit eager and created articles for Port Adelaide players after they were drafted. I went through all the players who hadn't played a game yet for PA, and I think there were about 8, and half of them were already tagged. I then went to notify the page creators about meeting notability before creating the page, but none were active. There is still the possibility these players may play this year, which means the page would then be re-created if it got deleted. The season ends in September, and if these players haven't played by then, then I will put them up for AfD, but if you think it should be done sooner, then I can. Thanks, Flickerd (talk) 13:47, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
