Thia article looks geniune even though I think more the films he wrote is not listed yet. I have seen quite a lot of hia films through our Tamil Sangam and they were considered to be great Tamil literary scripts. I think he even got an Indian Govt. National Award for the best script writer for his feature film 'Karnan', where Sivaji Ganesan spoke this writer's splendid dialogues in a memorable way. This arcticle is good to have as it is about a well known Indian Writer, as a resorce in Project India. Thanks

Sakthi T K Krishnasamy, one of the greats of Tamil Movies edit

I am a great follower of Tamil movies, especially movies of the 50s, 60s and 70s.Sakthi Krishnasamy has contributed to many box office hits of these decades, most notably are Veera Pandia Kattaboman, Kranan, Enga Veetu Pillai, Padakoti and many more. Even now, when any of his movies are either telecasted in TVs or re-played in cinemas, they bring about a tremendous amount of interest from the public. His dialogues are still used as auditioning script in the Tamil movie industry. The author of this article has only listed a few of the movies and lyrics written by Sakthi Krishnasamy. There are many more that can be added to this list. The subject of this discussion "Sakthi Krishnasamy" is genuine as the article states and should not be a consideration for deletion. The author should be commended for trying to bring Posthumous glory to someone so deserving, to someone who passed away 23 years ago. We need more articles like this, about Tamil and South Indian Film legends in Wikipedia edit

Yes, I think we need more articles like this, about Tamil and South Indian Film legends in Wikipedia. I watch a lot of Tamil Films and other South Indian films. When I search in Wikipedia, there are hardly few articles written about some of the legendary writers, directors and musicians of Tamil and South Indian Cinema. There are only many about Actors, but not the real creators of great cinema. Some of the Sakthi T. K. Krishnasamy's films I have watched are real classics of Tamil Cinema. I really feel sad even to know someone can request this article's deletion. Rather we should enrich this article on Sakthi T. K. Krishnasamy and write about many more similar (South) Indian Film Industry legends in Wikipedia. Tamilfilmsbuff (talk) 03:49, 14 December 2010 (UTC)TamilfilmsbuffReply

All articles must meet certain criteria to establish notability (in this case WP:CREATIVE also applies) using reliable sources. The article lacks such sources. Unfortunately, just saying someone if famous or great is not enough to support an article in Wikipedia. If you provide adequate support per WP:RS and the article will survive, if not, it is likely the article will be deleted. ttonyb (talk) 03:53, 14 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

... I have added more material, references and citations to this article as requested by Ttonyb1 user. Tamilfilmsbuff (talk) 00:27, 20 December 2010 (UTC)TamilfilmsbuffReply

        • More references, relevant and trust-worthy links added to this article including a relevant article from an Indian National News Paper site, which talks about this subject. After reading the comments and testimony written by others (who really have knowledge about this article's contents) in support of this article, it's genuine subject and quality worthiness, I feel good that I wrote this article. I sincerely thank other supporters for their valuable time, efforts, comments and citations provided. Nothing more needs to be done from our side to substantiate anything else on this matter. Thanks to all and thanks to Tony as well. Bye all.
