Fair use rationale for Image:08saints.JPG edit

Image:08saints.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 03:38, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Band members edit

I'm pretty sure the playing credits on this album are: David Coverdale - lead vocals Jon Lord - keyboards Bernie Marsden - guitars Micky Moody - guitars Neil Murray - bass Ian Paice - drums

(I think Mel Galley contributed backing vocals)81.31.97.129 17:50, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Wsaints.jpg edit

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Multiple issues edit

I don't know has someone else realised, but this article covers band members issues, not the album itself. There are three sentences on the album. Other is on reforming the band.

Pretty much like some other articles on Whitesnake's recordings.

'Victim of Love' single release date edit

Dutch Charts shows that the single was released on 28 February 1983, while an EMI Electrola Information Service poster shows that it was actually released on 20 May 1983, which is directly from the EMI label. This was sent to me by Jorg Planer, who was working with the group as an archivist for both David Coverdale and Whitesnake. As per WP:ALBUMSTYLE, I'm not sure if the Dutch charts' release claim is verifiable to put this on Wikipedia or not. Even though the date is earlier than EMI's poster, I would possibly consider this generic since they are using forums about its release date.
