See ru:Церковь Петра митрополита (Переславль), an article about one of the churches dedicated to this person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.154.80.145 (talk) 13:19, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Origin of Peter

edit

Ghirlandajo, why did you move the page back to Peter of Moscow? Peter is from a territory that today is part of Ukraine and his official title was Metropolitan of Kiev. He did move his episcopal see to Moscow in 1325, but next year he died. Why is he Peter of Moscow and where does this name come from, original research? Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 05:39, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Metropolitan of Moscow was not introduced until Jonah of Moscow in the 15th century, some hundred years later. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 05:43, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Boleslav

edit

Boleslav was born no earlier than 1305 and did not rule Galicia-Volynia until 1323. He could not do anything in 1308. Russian Wikipedia gives another chain of events. It says that in 1308 then rulers of Galicia-Volynia lobbied for Peter to be appointed Metropolis of Halych, but the patriarch appointed him to the east instead. --95.24.67.241 (talk) 10:12, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
