I have added to the Saint Leo page and hope to add more soon. , some fact checking must be done and added Melisa2080 01:07, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

As a Saint Leo alumnus myself (Class of '90), I agree that it is a wonderful place, but this is an encyclopeida article. Please keep additions to a neutral point of view. Thank you! Rockhopper10r 16:12, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

The history section of this page appears to have been lifted directly from the University website. I see no evidence that the text has been licensed under the GFDL. Can someone confirm this? --Eric 03:30, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

I would agree the text should be reworded not only to be more neutral but also less verbatim from the University website. Maybe a bit of paraphrasing and then adding their site as reference would make it better. Also, for those who have been alumni there, why not add some campus pictures? I do know it offers online courses; that would be something nice to add. SupremeDalek (talk) 08:18, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

The list of Alumni includes too many baseball players and not nearly enough graduates of Saint Leo University and/or Saint Leo College.

I am an alumnus, and I will outright say most of this is a lie. This article reads more like an advertisement rather than an objective encyclopedia entry.

Some errors include listing the school as "not far" from Tampa, St. Pete, and Orlando (I'm surprised they didn't try to throw Clearwater in there as well). Driving to just the Northern tip of Tampa (not New Tampa) takes a minimum of 30 minutes with good traffic (would you really call 35 miles "not far?"); St. Pete takes about 1 hour; downtown Orlando takes roughly 1.5 - 2 hours (unless they are referring to Kissimmee, which is where the major theme parks are, the drive is still 1.5 hours unless you speed on the police free back roads (cutting 30 minutes from the trip), but major map sites will overlook them.

The citation #3 under references leads to a site about baseball, and has nothing to do with the new school of business building being constructed (much different than building a business school, as the article states); the citation at the end of the section labeled 3 leads to a page on MSNBC's website that cannot be found.

The student involvement section reads like an advertisement to gloat about having concerts on campus. It ignores about half of the other activities that happen on campus.

The Notable Alumni is just a mess, and really needs to be cleaned up.

The Virtual Campus Section is just a giant advertisement again. I've removed the second and third paragraphs, since it acted more as an advertisement for Second Life as opposed to giving any information about the Virtual Campus. These two paragraphs have no verifiable content, as the "citation" is not listed in references and is a dead link.

I also added some "citation-needed" tags, made "Sports" a section underneath Alumni, as well as removed some unverified content, or requested proper citation. I'm not even going to begin to try to clean up the mess of grammar on this page.
