Erase the part about the Observatory of killed journalists

Hello,

Regarding the fact that this page needs to be cleaned, I propose to erase the part about the Observatory of Killed journalist which had been added by an user suspected have close connection with the subject and also because this edits does not comply the obligation to use an encyclopedic tone. Definition of the safety of journalists

Hello,

In order to give to the page the encyplodic tones which is expected on Wikipedia, I would like to add an academic definition of the safety journalis. I was thinking about the definition Sadia Jamil in her book "Handbook of Research on Combating Threats to Media Freedom and Journalist Safety". The author defined the safety of journalists as "A condition where journalists are not threatened in any form (i.e., physically, psychologically, or verbally); where no harm comes to them as targets of violence or any forms of attacks, in such a way that they can safely and responsibly report events and issues in society." Updating data on the page

Hello,

In view of the need to clean up the page, I think it would be appropriate to update the figures and graphs used on the page. To do this, I'd like to update one of the very first paragraphs on the page relating to the murder of journalists, as well as the graphic that accompanies the paragraph. The figures used are those from UNESCO's report from 2016/2017, in the meantime new reports with updated figures have been published (namely the global report 2021/2022 about the World trends in freedom of expression and media development and also Director-General's report about the safety of journalists and the danger of the impunity). I would therefore like to replace the existing paragraph with one similar in style and in the arguments put forward but with more recent data. Below is an example of the replacement text. Thank you

Between 2016 and 2020, UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay condemned the deaths of 400 journalists^[1]. A downward trend is observed compared to the period from 2012 to 2016, when the Director-General of UNESCO condemned the death of 530 journalists, which is equivalent to an average of two death per week^[2]. In 2021, 55 killings of journalists were recorded, this is the lowest number recorded by the Director-General of UNESCO in 14 years^[3]. In 2020, most of the murders committed against journalists took place in a context other than that of an armed conflict, representing 61% of the murders of journalists of the year. The opposite trend was observed for the year 2016, where 50% of killings took place in countries in countries plagued by armed conflict^[4].

Delete the message about the Aaccusation of a close connection of the subject

Hi, I didn't quite understand all the rules governing Wikipedia, particularly the one about transparency. The changes I made to this page led to a message at the top of the page notifying me that a user with links to the subject had made changes. Delete the message about the close connection

Hello,

I take the initiative to delete the message about the close connection regarding the fact that the user who put them delete all of them and bring back the former information. I compared the different version from the history of modifications and everything seems good for me, the page get back to its initial content. That's why I deleted the message. Delete the message about the tone

Hello,

I've been updating and cleaning the page since few days now. I bring many modifications mainly: harmonized the page, replace the word UNESCO which was used too much, updated the data (mainly those of the UNESCO, RSF and the CPJ). Regarding all of that, I think that the page respect now the mandatory obligations of Wiki to use an encyclopedic tone. That's why i want to delete the message about that. Let me know if you think that I can bring others modifications to the page.
