I read about this in the news and couldn't find too much information about it. Please help by adding more information that would be helpful. Chinese3126 00:13, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability tag?

edit

The notability tag was added without any contextual information or comment here on talk. The article has three unique sources from notable publications; perhaps the tagger could provide more specific guidance as to what exactly is missing? Anchoress 23:30, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I did a Google search which reported "about 61 hits". Then I did another one which got 1400+ hits. Now I just did one again which is returning "67 for Safecatch". I don't quite understand what's going on with that. Ewlyahoocom 01:24, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't know, that's weird. But either way, we don't use raw google numbers to establish or discount notability. Anchoress 04:10, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that's why the tag reads "...please expand or rewrite the article to establish its notability." Ewlyahoocom 07:42, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Could you please be a bit more specific? Could you identify what's missing? Thanks for reiterating the content of the tag, but that doesn't really answer my question. Thanks a lot! Anchoress 07:53, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
One of the external links is dead but a Google news search lists a single article at http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/valleyindependent/teenscene/s_530174.html So how long has it been since this... concept? program? (I'm not actually sure what it is) was developed? 1 year according to Wikipedia, but 2 years according to that Google news article -- are there any studies documenting its results (besides Carr's self-reported results)? It's says it's a Washington State program -- does it have an official website? (One other thing -- is it "Safecatch" or "SafeCatch" with an uppercase C)? Why is the article titled "SafeCatch"? None of the references have a medial capital C. Languagehat (talk) 16:24, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Credit Union Management article uses it. I'm not sure which is correct, though. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:41, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
