Fair use rationale for Image:New Village Movement Logo.JPG

edit

Image:New Village Movement Logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Proposed merge with 새마을운동

edit

We already have an article about the same subject as a new one. —Largo Plazo (talk) 01:15, 5 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

As the official name is Saemaul Undong, This should be merged and become the official page regarding Saemaul Undong(New Community Movement). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.128.73.13 (talk) 02:41, 5 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Saemaul Undong. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Saemaul UndongNew Village Movement – Article title has to be in English if it's not about a certain non-English term but a multi-word name. The current title - the Korean-language name - just has to be added in the beginning of the article alongside the other versions of the name. This is a contested technical request (permalink). Polyamorph (talk) 07:22, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per WP:UE: The choice between anglicized and local spellings should follow English-language usage, e.g. the non-anglicized titles Besançon, Søren Kierkegaard, and Göttingen are used because they predominate in English-language reliable sources. Saemaul Undong is more common than any other way of referring to this subject in English language reliable sources [1]. 61.239.39.90 (talk) 01:40, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per WP:UE the English name is Saemaul Undong In ictu oculi (talk) 12:00, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose as above. WP:UE does not mandate the translation of everything into English. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:44, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
