Anwar's 194 and Coventry

edit

Just a quick note. People have written that Coventry surpassed Anwar's record by being not out, often referencing Cricinfo's stat list with him at the top. It should be noted that this is merely convention. The article on the match itself on Cricinfo clearly referred to him as having made the "joint highest individual score in an ODI." See here [1]. Orphaned references in Saeed Anwar

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Saeed Anwar's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "retirement":

  • From Mohammad Yousuf (cricketer): "Mohammad Yousuf set to retire". ESPNCricinfo. 27 March 2010. Retrieved 27 March 2010.
  • From Wasim Akram: "Akram announces retirement". Cricinfo. 18 May 2003. Retrieved 2 August 2010.
  • From Waqar Younis: "Waqar brings down the curtain". ESPNCricinfo. 12 April 2004. Retrieved 21 April 2012.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:02, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
