Can we use this great photo? Or should this be used for a Hoang Lien Mountains article? Badagnani 21:54, 4 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Quiet? edit

The text says it is a quiet town. When I was there last January, I noted it is a very busy tourist town nowadays. Rbakels (talk) 19:30, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Old Sa Pa town dissolved!!! edit

On 09/11, the Congress decided to dissolved Sa Pa District (Huyện Sa Pa) along with old Sa Pa town (thị trấn Sa Pa) to form the new district-level town of Sa Pa, containing 6 wards, one of which is a ward also named Sa Pa. For more details, please visit the Vietnamese site [1] and [2]

This current page is now about the new Sa Pa ward, which contains a really small portion of old Sa Pa town (since the rest of the former town are now equally distributed to 6 newly formed wards). Thus, the tourist attractions of Sa Pa, which once all located in the former Sa Pa town, are now equally distributed into 6 wards. This current page is, however, about the new Sa Pa ward, but is still containing all information about Sa Pa tourism.

Therefore, I suggest that we move all information about Sa Pa tourism to Sa Pa (town), and this page should be left with just some information about this newly formed ward (including area and population).Cn5900 (talk) 07:54, 14 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
