This is a wikipedia article, not a placement brochure. Please rewrite the article in wikipedia standards before removing the cleanup tag.

Please follow : :Wikipedia guidelines

Why does this always happen to me? Anyway, I tried to clean it up as much as possible by removing things I thought just might be seen as trivial or promotional. While writing this article, I was thinking about "what would a person wanting to know about SPJCM want to read?". There is nothing here that is not factual.--SohanDsouza 18:26, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

See, from my point of view when a wikipedia page has information about ironing facilities, its a sort of advertisement. Putting the placeholder back up. If you get enough people to say I'm wrong, will remove it myself. Dont get me wrong here, but i've only asked for a cleanup; am not marking you with speedy deletion for blatant advertising.

I don't think this sounds like an advert. It is detailed that is all. Ironing facilities would be just as similar as 25000 books in the library. If the later is not an advert then ironing should not be an advert as well. A look around most other school webpages should help clarify the same.--Kanishkaagiwal 05:59, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your support, Agarwal, but now that I look back at it, I wonder what I was smoking when I wrote the original. It IS kind of ridiculous to go into such detail. I guess I still need to improve my writing, but that is why I am on Wikipedia. Anyway, I have trimmed it down further, and organized it a bit. Hopefully it is good enough now. Although I have left in a lot of the details about the GMBA, as it is in fact a very unique sort of program, even for a 1-year MBA --SohanDsouza 15:55, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kanishka, you are assuming most school pages follow guidelines, which is anything but true. And yes, unless its a page about a library the number of books might not be exactly relevant. Page seems good now Sohan, keep up the good work. Banner is down. Anish7 11:05, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, Anish7. Yeah, I was in fact just checking out a couple of school pages the other day, and they were rather overdone. It kind of made me realize the flaws in the original version of this article.--SohanDsouza 04:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Err, my name's Anish, not Anish7 SohanDsouza ;) ! Anish7 04:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:SPJCM Logo.JPG

edit

Image:SPJCM Logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Copyvio?

Strange Passerby (talkcontribs)

As far as I can tell, at least some parts of the article are copyvios, cut-and-pasted from the official site with a few words removed; for example:
Article: "The Association of MBA (AMBA), UK has accredited S P Jain's GMBA and EMBA programs. S P Jain's MBA programs are the only MBA programs of Indian origin to be accredited by this world-renowned body."
School's website: "The Association of MBA (AMBA), UK - the Gold Standard in MBA Accreditation - has accredited S P Jain's MBA programs. Only the best MBA programs in the world get accreditation from a top body like AMBA. S P Jain's programs are the only MBA programs of Indian origin to be accredited by this world-renowned body, a further testimony to S P Jain's excellence in education."

An image used in this article, File:Alesa Lightbourne.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: All Wikipedia files with unknown copyright status

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
