Maiden return voyage. edit

I had the pleasure of returning to the UK from Sydney in Orsova following the end of the Korean War. As Royal Navy officers, two of us travelled First Class, although in the least expensive cabins. We were on board when the ship ran aground on the West Bank of the Suez Canal. Much as we would have enjoyed offering help, we were restricted to watching the tedious and difficult process from the 1st class lounge over a gin and tonic. 152.231.128.63 (talk) 15:53, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
