This heading is somewhat misleading; it is not really about Herr Kapitan Spindler himself but rather a brief and partial summary of the Aud's activities while under his command; should it be relabeled? 75.200.0.32 (talk) 02:08, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Spindler has already been introduced in the previous section. The section break is in a really strange place, breaking up the story. Besides, the "Introduction" is not an introduction at all. The first two sections should be combined under the heading of "1916 voyage", "Role in the Easter Rising" or some such. 86.44.200.128 (talk) 15:48, 3 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The ship was not a ship of the Imperial Navy and never carried the prefix "SMS". (One does occasionally find the prefix SMH in some writings, SMH meaning "Seiner Majestät Hilfsschiff" = "His Majesty's Auxiliary Ship".) --Cosal (talk) 05:16, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
