What does the SN in the name stand for... Sabena National? -newkai | talk | contribs 22:32, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

If I'm not mistaken it comes from Sabena's predecessor, called SNETA

SN candidate in joining oneworld? edit

It is mentioned that SN Brussels Airlines is a candidate to join the oneworld alliance. Where does this info come from? It has been rumoured, (and on a personal note: it would make sense if they were to join) but as far as I'm aware, nothing official is known.--B-west 22:05, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've found the rumour in oceanru.com and blogspot, but on closer inspection they're both clones of this WP page. I've reported them as previously unknown mirrors. Certes (talk) 22:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tense of article edit

Why is this article in past tense? SNBA is still flying under the SN label... - unsigned contribution apparently from 81.245.246.136 at 17:49, 28 February 2007, promoted to section by Certes (talk) 21:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to http://finance.google.com/finance?cid=16466645, "Delta Air Transport does business as Brussels Airlines" but "SN Airholding, a consortium of Belgian companies, owns Brussels Airlines". I'm not sure whether this makes SNBA current or past. Certes (talk) 21:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
