Does this image really show U 1? It was uploaded on commons without source by a user with exactly one edit. And the silhouette looks different than in de:Bild:U1-Modell_von_vorne.JPG or [1] (note the form of the sail and its height compared to the men). regards, High on a tree 01:07, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
This is not U-1 but rather an example of "Seehund". U-1 is located a few metres away from this midget submarine. I live not far from the museum and will try and get a better picture shortly.
