This was my favourite morning show. It was hilarious on so many levels and really started the weekend well. The humour was great. The show was an adult show cleverly disguised as a childrens show.

I so agree. I have only fond memories of this. Shame it got so rubbish when Ant and Dec left, but they were, after all, what was great about this show. - Mark 18:03, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

rating

I was to state that ""Live & Kicking, and gave ITV their most watched children's programme since Tiswas. At the height of its popularity"

is in fact wrong it was in fact "Whats up doc" that did in fact when the battle against the bbc, I know same proof will be needed, but it such work boths ways!

Pokebattles

edit

When the article says that the presenters battle each other "in the traditional sense" does this mean that the trainers are actually fighting, rather than having Pokemon fight for them as in the actual game? This could be clearer. -- Antaeus Feldspar 21:33, 4 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Chums

edit

My favourite part of the show, and I want the DVDs but I can't really remember it much and I have 2 questions:

How long was each episode How many episodes did they do?

--Fugabutacus 21:48, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The episode length varied considerably, from a couple of minutes up to over ten minutes for the "Ant goes blind" episode. No idea over the total number I'm afraid! Tim (Xevious) 18:09, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wonky Donkey

edit

I remember finding this dead funny but can't quite remember what happened, other than that (usually) thick kids rang in and got it entirely wrong. Anyone with a better memory want to add something about this? Matthew 23:12, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The section got removed by a vandal and was never spotted - i've now put it back. Ollie 01:21, 29 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

This section needs updating – did CD:UK ever end up on Five in the end? Rubberkeith 07:12, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Controversy

edit

We could add the fact that the show contained a lot of adult material and was forever pushing the boundaries. Also one April Fool's Day (not sure what year) Dec pretended to faint live on air, which attracted a lot of concerned viewers to phone in, followed by complaints when the hoax was revealed. Current Rights Holder(s)

edit

From the article "Ant & Dec's former company Gallowgate Holdings Limited currently owns the rights to the show". Gallowgate Holdings Limited is dissolved as of 15 November 2016[1]. Does anyone know who currently holds the rights to the show? 82.69.117.142 (talk) 12:47, 2 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
