editWith some amazement, I have seen an admin wreaking havoc upon a contributor, and simply block him, just because said admin does not know German orthography.
First, the "ß" letter has never been abolished in the German language and still persists under new orthography. Secondly, after a long vowel like here, the "ß" is still de rigueur; it has only been replaced now after short vowels (like Faß -> Fass, muß -> muss).

Merge with SMS Friedrich der Große (1911)
editOf course these two articles should be merged. They are about the very same ship.Cosal 21:16, 2 March 2006 (UTC) Move all information from SMS Friedrich der Große (1911) to this article and then delete or redirect the other. MartinMcCann 20:28, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- Second that. The version with the double "s" should redirect to the "ß" version though. Eliashc 11:58, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
