Notability is a primary issue in disambiguation. YOU created a disambiguation when it should not have been created in the first place for the hospital that your ip came from, you started adding anything possible to make it seem more valid when it was challenged. I don't know... the initial Google searches seem evenly spread out. On one hand, we could have this as a disambiguation page. On another, we could have it as a redirect to The Sydney Morning Herald. A compromise would be to move it to SMH (disambiguation), have it redirect to The Sydney Morning Herald, and have {{redirect}} at the top of The Sydney Morning Herald. How do these options sound? given that one of the other SMH's is a listed stock, i'd say it's pretty notable (and the herald is my favourite paper)... if people are searching for the paper, i suspect they're really more likely to be searching by the name than the acronym though. Dibo ^{T | C} 12:43, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your suggestion, Gracenotes. That should work, but the current disambiguation [2] works fine, too. A change is not necessary. Furthermore, SMH is not as commonly used to refer to that Australian newspaper as USA is used to refer to the United States.
