Obsolete mnemonic? edit

Most of the literature I've read on organophosphate poisoning uses SLUDGEM as the diagnostic mnemonic, salivation, lacrimation, urination, defecation/diarrhea, gastrointestinal cramping, emesis, muscle spasm. Some even use SLUDGEM-RA, adding respiratory distress and agitated mental state. Is this article drawing from an outdated source? I can't tell because there is no listed source, among other problems. --76.217.81.152 06:44, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've never seen it abbreviated SLUD, I've seen SLUDGE many times and, as you say, SLUDGEM too. I'll come back soon and fix this thing up with some proper sourcing. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 07:22, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
The SLUD mnemonic should be addressed because it's used in a relatively popular work of enviro-fiction, Zodiac by Neal Stephenson. I'd originally thought this was the appropriate term. 207.188.232.179 (talk) 17:18, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Alternatively, I've seen DUMBELS as the mnemonic: defecation, urination, miosis, bronchoconstriction, emesis, lacrimation, salivation/seizures/sweating —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.27.122.163 (talk) 01:57, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Semana Linux Universidad Distrital edit

There is a note at the end of the article. The note should be deleted and perhaps a disambiguation page could be added (with a link at the top of this article). I would do it now if I weren't studying for finals.Garvin Talk 07:38, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
