Rename ? edit

There is a high risk this company might be confused with other uses of SFR (disambiguation), and in particular with the Société française radio-électrique. Wouldn't it be better to rename it in the expanded form (like for General Electric for example) ? Vol de nuit (talk) 12:29, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

No, because the company name is no longer Société Française de Radiotéléphone. It is truly SFR. Besides, the disambiguation link is included at the top of the article. ++Arx Fortis (talk) 14:35, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it truly is its name as you can see for example here : SFR is only its "commercial name". I know there is a disambiguation link, but this doesn't mean this company has to be prioritary on SFR. There are two possibilities for a rename : Société française de radiotéléphone or SFR (telephone). Vol de nuit (talk) 07:46, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Invalid hotlink edit

I have just noticed that the SFR.com link (#1 in References) points to an invalid webpage. Perhaps this link can be simply pointed to www.sfr.com? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 10 July 2013 Thebuckstopshere79 (talkcontribs)

Number format edit

I propose, that we use the English format for numbers (e.g. the dot as the decimal separator). SFR made roughly 12 billion Euro sales, so this means 12.183 (with a dot) and not 12,183 (which are 12 trillions). But because English is not my first language, I think, somebody else should make the decision. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kwally (talkcontribs) 13:31, 8 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
