Opinions on freemasonry vary greatly by order and degree. Does anyone have details on this fellow's particulars? S. Brent Morris is a noted, and notable, Masonic author, who, while he holds the "highest degree" in Masonry (Master Mason, or third degree) is also a member of the AASR, and holds the 33rd degree in that body, as well as the Grand Cross of the Court of Honor with them as well.[1] However, the suggestion that those who are of the 3rd degree don't know all the secrets of freemasonry, that only 32nds really know the truth, or, when confronted with a 32nd who says "none of this conspiracy stuff is in what I have learned" only 33rds, and so on, is a wild and untenable theory. Many Masons may have their differing opinions on the origins of Masonry, however, Brent has done a lot of the primary source research into, and continues to study the theories and evidence.--Vidkun (talk) 20:17, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
