As far as I am aware, the practice of deploying princes to different provinces has nothing to do with surgun. surgun was a tool used by the sultanate to increase stability in border regions by spreading out conquered populations — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.172.100.169 (talk) 08:49, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
