Souring for some statements
edit>Ryujinx features an accurate recreation of the Nintendo Switch's Maxwell GPU.[citation needed] It supports the Nintendo Switch's docked and handheld modes in addition to resolution scaling beyond those supported by the original hardware.[citation needed]
The fact that Ryujinx emulates the switch GPU is found in this interview with boiling steam:
>It was not until 2019 that I was able to finally get them working with a large GPU rewrite (which I called ANGEL, or Another NVIDIA GPU Emulation Library)
However, it does not describe it as "an accurate recreation of the Nintendo Switch's Maxwell GPU." The maxwell part isn't the issue as that is sourceable as much as the "accurate recreation" which isn't really supported although. Obviously it is at least mostly accurate otherwise the emulator would not work. It also doesn't seem like a "feature" as much as an implementation detail.
Similarly the scaling feature is there:
>Right now, the benefits are playing at a higher resolution by using the resolution scaling, which makes game look a lot better, especially if you have a high resolution screen like 4K. Depending on the game, it may also be possible to play at a higher frame rate than what the Switch can handle.
The interview is recommended by the verge, so I think it is citable:
>You can read a rare interview with GDKChan at Boiling Steam.
I don't see a source mentioning that both docked and handheld modes are supported, although I haven't looked. I'm also not sure if that is notable anyway. I'm also unsure if Wololo is considered reliable on Wikipeida. I myself do think it is reliable, and it is not only one writer there so it's not really a blog per say, even if Wololo writes most of the articles (the one quoted is not written by him, fwif). I'm leaving the Wololo courced statements for now but I may refactor some of the other statements. J2UDY7r00CRjH (talk) 01:42, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
