   The results of a GoogleMaps search for

Rutgers Presbyterian Church, 236 West 73d Street, New York, NY

seem pretty consistent between its street-level and vertical views, and the RPC-labeled pointer for that search probably coincides with the tallest of the sidewalk-level arched openings. Which is to say, they put that address on the N (well, NNW) side of 73rd, about 20% of the way

from the Broadway intersection -- at the east (well, ESE) end of the block

to the West End Ave intersection -- and let's just call that "the west end" of the block.

Side entrance? And non-liturgical functions

   On the Broadway side of the block, somewhere in the second or third quarter of the block, there is a doorway, compatible (to my untrained architectural eye) with the 73rd-St facade. The stone or concrete adjacent to the doorway is lettered, in relief and i think all-caps, "Rutgers Building". I've no opinion about whether one can enter on 73rd and leave on Broadway (or vice-versa), but it is hard to imagine that the two sets of mentions of "Rutgers" are mere coincidence, given that the Broadway facade also displays (less formally!) two posters referring to "Rutgers Church" or "Rutgers Presbyterian Church".
   A fancy church almost always has a high-grade music program, and RPC seems to be known in the New York classical-music scene as a venue where space suitable for secular musical auditions can be rented. Such an institution probably has many verifiable roles in the Upper West Side community that would be worthy of inclusion.
