Minor issues with my last edit

Don't suppose someone can go ahead and change the commission date to 30 December 2014 to come in line with the Kilo-class submarine page? I tried to find a better source that'd state definitively between 26/30 December but all I could find was an... Corrections for Terminology

There are some relatively minor corrections I think ought to be made, regarding traditional naval terminology:

• The superstructure is commonly referred to as a sail, or fin; never a conning tower, which is something typically used when talking about surface vessels

• The term 'ship' (when directly mentioning the submarine) is typically used for referring to surface vessels, submariners commonly call them boats.

• Upper bow seems awkward, perhaps 'bow casing' would be better - the casing being the non-watertight part of the submarine outside of the pressure hull (photo looks like both were penetrated though)

These may seem pedantic, but talk to a submariner from US or UK and elsewhere, they'll likely back this up. 158.43.21.18 (talk) 15:39, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

Oh no, not pedantic at all, I'm more than happy to be corrected on this. I spent a hot minute trying to figure out what the proper terms are for stuff like what I put as the upper bow; originally I was going to put the "top" of the submar.ine and thought there had to be something better. Rostov-na-Donu

"This submarine is called Rostov-On-Don, not Rostov-Na-danu WTF. Someone needs to change this, its embarrasing." @Maxsmart50

Ростов-На-Дону/Rostov-na-Donu is the transliteration from Russian to English. Rostov-on-Don is the English translation. That is likely why it's done the way it is. If someone more experienced with specific guidance on the matter wants to get involved that'd be neat, otherwise it'll likely remain as is.
