My initial thought is to wonder how this relates, if it actually does, to the Internet joke "In America you [verb][noun], in Soviet Russia [noun][verb] YOU!"
Yeah, I'd think that's a lot more likely than it being based on 'observations of Russian cryptography'. It's probably just a derivation on the joke, something about 'uniting backwards' — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.236.152.66 (talk) 21:27, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
