It would be good if a listing of events/dates could be added to this article. Each year would probably be its own page but it would be facinating, especially for concerts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.133.8.2 (talk) 15:43, 1 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

There has been a little edit-warring over whether Rupp Arena is nicknamed "The house that Rupp built" or "The Cathedral of Basketball". Whichever nickname is used, please remember that it needs to be cited to an appropriate source, which neither of these appear to have. cmadler (talk) 18:02, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
A search of the two phases show that "the house that Rupp built" is Memorial Coliseum, where UK played before moving to Rupp Arena. The Cathedral of Basketball is the nickname of the Palestra in Philadelphia. dr. knipple (talk) 03:34, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

sounds like someone added the inuit burial ground bit just for fun, as the inuit are located in Canada — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.163.8.175 (talk) 19:53, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

One of the best known venues in the state

No references whatsoever. When fact-checking or expanding this article, it would be helpful if there was a references or further reading section for us to use... so many mentions of "Rupp Arena" are going to be passing mentions, we need a list of articles and books with substantial information about Rupp Arena rather than events going on there.
The history section is disorganized and incomplete, with only one sentence about the actual history of the facility, mostly it just talks about the history of events held there. How was the Arena funded? Has it been renovated? etc.
Trivia section should be integrated into the article
