I disagree that the 1980 "running Free" single should be merged with the 1985 live version single. As a completist and big Maiden fan I think it would be very wrong to muddle these two releases. Running Free was Maiden's first single and is a very important part of their history. The live version has a special signifigance all it's own and is part of a different and very important era of the band. Don't do it!

Could someone add some info on the B-side track "Burning Ambition". Is it original Maiden or a cover?

I'll second that. Burning ambition was the first proper song written by Steve Harris.

Not Unless Eddie Has Two Right Arms

"On close observation one may notice that Eddie is missing one of his arms, which is presumably the arm seen reaching out from the right side of the cover."

Given that Eddie in the background is missing his left arm and that the arm reaching out is a right arm, I don't think one can reasonably conclude that.

y is this sometimes credited to "harris murray di anno",and at other times to "iron maiden"? (regarding the writing credit)

Coheed and Cambria Disambiguation

Hey all, relative newcomer to editing the 'pedia, but I figured I'd start with something simple. I don't know if it warrents a redirect at the top of the page, but I tossed one there seeing as how the new Coheed and Cambria single has a nearly identical name to this Iron Maiden tune. Feel free to take it off and tell me why it shouldn't be there if I'm wrong and help a n00b learn wikipedia :D - user:erik8781

G'day

Hello fellow Maiden fans. Just saying that since I got into Wikipedia, which is only in the last few years, I've noticed a LOT of incorrect information, unfinished or half done information, grammatical & non-sequential information on these pages. With all serious due respect to the Original person/s who took the time consuming effort to write it in the first place, I've been slowly updating and "fixing" these issues. I have always used references for any of these issues that I may add and I don't as a rule change any of the write ups about the album/songs but I have added a line at the end just to reference the updated elements. This is not done out of some malicious self-important ego trip but out of a wish for people who read Wikipedia for a source of information to get the correct knowledge to start with, as unfortunately most of you would be aware of the bad rep it has as a source of information, even though I personally don't think its as bad as some people have said it is. Nor is it meant to be a "#$%@ you" to others who have written on them before me....

Dennis Stratton on "Burning Ambition"

Stratton joined in December and the band's autobiography states that "Burning Ambition" was recorded without him. Unless you have a reliable source which suggests this information is incorrect, please leave it as it is. --Nerdtrap (talk) 06:28, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
