Stacy and Stevie: Sam's siblings?

edit

That "all kids in the family sharing the same first letter" is bound to be true; besides, they're the only two guest stars left who could be Sam's family, and we're supposed to see his home this episode. (Yes, I know we have to wait until we get cite-worthy confirmation... And no, I'm not apologizing for any alliteration.) BlueMoonset (talk) 04:06, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

You said it: we have to wait for independent reliable sources. Yves (talk) 04:52, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sam's dad is named Sylvester, and his mom's name is Sue. Oh, wait... Rcej (Robert) - talk 07:59, 5 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

English

edit

I'm wondering something. Glee articles are typically written in American English, but since the title of this episode itself is spelled the same way as the album is—in British English—would that change things? Would we leave the article in American English and just have the only trace of British English be the episode title? Or would we strive for consistency: to avoid simultaneously having "Rumours", when referring to the episode, and "rumors", when referring to gossip? [With Fleetwood Mac articles, it's not a problem, of course, since the band originated in London.] Yves (talk) 16:32, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I think just the word "Rumours" should be in British English, and the rest in American English. CTJF83 17:02, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. Titles are sacrosanct, and should be reproduced exactly regardless of language, but the rest of the article, including the word "rumor" if it occurs, should stick to American English. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:29, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
That's what I thought. Thanks! Yves (talk) 01:18, 4 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Having it both ways

edit

So riddle me this: the information I added about April's song being in this episode was initially referencing the same source as the information about the title of April's one-woman show, "Crossroads", yet the show reference been standing for a while and was left in the article. It seems to me like we're trying to have it both ways: why not pull it all? Mind, I've rendered this irrelevant by referencing the proper source grounding April/Chenoweth's appearance as definitely being season 2, but pulling my entire edit seemed excessive. (Yes, it's back in, and with a different reference.)

If there are further issues, can we discuss in talk before edits or reversions commence? Any of the above, or the children (the two actors are definitely children, even if we can't definitively establish their roles as Sam's siblings yet). BlueMoonset (talk) 14:22, 25 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Chain

edit

The song The Chain was played during the episode whilst Finn and Rachel were on a steakout. Should that not have been included at all anywhere, as I've noticed songs thast were heard, but not performed in previous episodes were included.Alinblack (talk) 23:19, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Possible resource

edit

I don't know if this at all useful, but I just came across an Australian article discussing this episode. It's mainly about what the author calls "the Glee effect", whereby the original Rumours album made its way onto the Australian charts a few days after the episode aired. Interesting, but maybe not useful - I'll leave it here anyway. 97198 (talk) 12:18, 19 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
