Overall:   Goeiedag KittenKlub, thanks for another interesting Suriname article. I did a light copyedit, see what you think. The hook could do with tightening up a bit, I'm not wild about the repetition of the name, which you could get around by saying "had an airport named after him" or similar. Also my ears pricked up when I read he was arrested in Santiago, any good story there? Finally I was gonna say add the pic, but I see now it's not possible on the license, shame. @Mujinga: We could try:

ALT1: ... that Rudi Kappel, co-founder of the first airline of Suriname, was arrested both on entering and leaving Santiago de Cuba? Het nieuws (20-10-1952)Amigoe di Curacao (18-10-1952)

The story is covered in two newspapers (The Nieuws in Suriname and Amigoe in Curaçao), however both stories are based on an interview with Rudi Kappel, and he does say "semi-officiële papieren" (semi-official papers - The Nieuws) which was a letter of recommendation for the mayor of Paramaribo (Amigoe).KittenKlub (talk) 16:33, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
@KittenKlub: cool that's a great ALT1 which is good to go, so then back to ALT0 if you want to rephrase that one up somehow as I suggested above? Mujinga (talk) 21:25, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
excellent, ALT0 and ALT1 now both good to go Mujinga (talk) 21:39, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
