Ambassador or consul general?

Was Roy Blake ambassador to Germany and Italy or Consul General? I'm having trouble finding reliable sources describing him as ambassador, but this one mentions him as consul general in Hamburg and Milan. Pburka (talk) 02:08, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

He also doesn't appear here. I think that he was incorrectly classified as an ambassador on the Government of Canada website. Pburka (talk) 02:15, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Other than this (select JAMAICA) I also can't find any evidence he was acting HC in Jamaica, either. He seems to have been a counselor there. I think that Foreign Affairs has goofed on Blake. Pburka (talk) 02:41, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. These are sources which can be used to further expand the article. If you want to continue debating notability we can do that elsewhere. Pburka (talk) 15:29, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
