IP disruptive editing edit

1. The flags should not be used in infobox next to the manager/captain names as they are not representing their country in any way (covered in WP:INFOBOXFLAG). It is also a concensus on football (soccer) and basketball articles that the flags are omitted in infobox for coaches, general managers, presidents etc., check any major basketball/football club in the world, none has flags. Just because WP:Handball is so small and inactive (and because of that, there is obviously no official concensus for minor stuff like this), it doesnt mean we should not follow the common sense from WP:MOSFLAG and the other, much bigger sports-related projects.
2. "Formerly known players from the club" section is both WP:OR and unsourced and will therefore be removed. Another guide for football clubs (click) also recommends that "famous players" sections should not exists at all. Who are you to determine which players are "known enough" to be included, and which not? You should include criterias (with sources, obviously), for example "the following players have won at least 3 national titles with the club", "the following players have made at least 100 competitive appearances for the club" (good luck finding a source for that), "the following players have won an individual award while being a members of the club (like MVP or inclusion in team of the year or something)" etc., and even this would be basically original research since it would be us who determine criterias. If the club itself doesnt have their own list of players that contributed much and are regarded as important for them, then simply dont include anything as its clearly an original research and your own opinion about which players are good enough to be included, and which are not. And since this is a fully-pro club and one of the best in Europe, basically every player that plays for this club is easily notable enough to have an article, so having an article doesnt automatically makes those players "formerly known players".
3. Sections like that has no place on Wikipedia, not only its fully unsourced, it is also completely irrelevant and with no prose of any kind, its basically some random trivial crap to make article longer or something. Yes, some football/basketball teams have their kit manufacturers info, but the info is sourced, there is a prose and not just a table, and the info is included in sections like "Kits and colours" among other things and not just randomly like that.

If you would again simply restore back flags and those OR lists without leaving any replies here, on your talk pages, or in edit summaries, I will request a permanent semi-protection of this page. Snowflake91 (talk) 16:17, 27 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
