This probably needs clarification, regarding the comments about Aboriginals being at the bottom of the civilization spectrum. He was referring to their state at "the time of settlement" or somesuch. Someone reading this page could be lead to believe he was referring to the present day.

I've removed this possibility and added a source for the comments. What else do people think needs sourcing before the poor sourcing tag can be removed? Hegar 03:40, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
