Just some minor things I noticed. The Dutch word "Schoontje" as its used in the article is confusing me. I speak Flemish but the two languages are basically the same with slightly different meanings. Schoon in Dutch would be "clean". In my dialect of Flemish it's meaning is more "pretty". Whats confusing is whether its a sur-name or not. I've checked the references and I see it there...used as a name...but I'm just not sure that it's not a poor translation of an occupation rather than a name. But...the "-tje" at the end is kind of a diminutive...an endearment thats added to many words. Maybe it was a nickname like "Honeybunch" or "Sweety" or something. Just though I'd mention my concern for clarity. Another issue is... Mom and Dad are both named "Jacob". Isn't that peculiar? Buster Seven Talk 18:34, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your guess is as good as mine. I speak neither Dutch, nor Flemish. Source says, "daughter of Jacob Marcus Vos, a cobbler and Schoontje Jacob Fransman".[1] Far be it for me to question their naming preferences. (By the by the Dutch article gives the names like this too. [2]) SusunW (talk) 19:54, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
