Hi I came across Roobarb and Custard created by you when it came up on discussion at wikipedia:reference desk#Animation style. I'm planning to create an article on the "Roobarb and Custard effect" and would like to know your initial source of the Roobarb article and how the animation style came to be called by this name. Most of the reference for this article came from an exhibition at the Museum of Film and Television in Bradford, Yorkshire. I'm not sure if the exhibition was permanent or temporary, it was a good few years back. Well worth visiting if you're ever in the area. Graham 8 July 2005 12:48 (UTC)

I don't believe "Roobarb and Custard effect" has become a term used in the animation industry. Google only returns 2 results for the phrase, and surprise surprise, they're both from this article. I'm removing this text unless anyone can cite a veifiable source for this term The jiggly effect was new, and any similar effect in animation is called the "Roobarb and Custard effect" to this day. --Psychonaut3000 00:54, 26 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is Roobarb green? I thought he was yellow. Can we attempt some form of consensus on the colour? Chrisbrennan 05:10, 12 April 2006

At the start of 'When it wasn't Thorsday' Roobarb describes himself as green, and in the picture on the article page he's clearly much greener than his yellow beak. Can we go with green? Squiddy | (squirt ink?) 11:14, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
