This entry is factually wrong.
The winner of the 1978 Winmau World Masters was Ronnie Davis, not Davies and he was not from Wales but England.
He was from Newcastle upon Tyne and played many years for Northumberland in the BDO inter counties.
He lives at Forest Hall in Newcastle.
