Roaming roman romes about rome
editThe words rome and roman together appear roughly 10 times in the first paragraph. Would it create too much confusion to simply call it the 'kingdom' or 'republic' or 'senate' or 'people' and then link it to 'spqr' or 'roman senate' after that? The term 'roman' works for titles, but I'm sure that readers know what is being referenced without having to tag 'roman' to everything.
I don't mind titles, but it feels somewhat like you're marching before a court where you're required to address the noble of office with a lengthy arbitrary title, and use that title whenever regarding anything of their holy person.
This hurts my brain in reading, so would it hurt to have it changed? — Preceding Impfireball (talk) 10:05, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

- I entered text, then noticed the "Preview" log duplicated my statement and misspelled my last name and no effort, not even erasing the entire text to post AN EMPTY REPLY, resolved the errors and omissions.
