Was the Diocese of Kamloops Really Established in 1945? edit

This page says the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kamloops was erected on December 22, 1945. But the page Kamloops Wawa says a Fr. Le Jeune (who lived from 1855 to 1930) was connected with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kamloops, and the page Chinook Jargon says that in the Diocese of Kamloops many people learned to speak Chinook through the publication "Kamloops Wawa", which was published from 1891 "into the 1900s".
