Endorsements

Greetings,

I added a section for Mr. Grosjean's endorsements which was removed due to someone saying they did not see the point. F1 racers in general are endorsers of various products. The endorsements they carry are not only critical to their personal wealth but at the same time important for the revenues of many F1 teams. an example of the usefulness of the topic is the repeated asking of others of what Sunglasses he wears. See Reddit article: https://www.reddit.com/r/sunglasses/comments/bpa0ba/looking_for_an_id_on_these_romain_grosjean/ . This is one of many posts on the same topic, there is an interest in this information being available. Please also see driver Fernando Alonso who also has his listed endorsements as an example. I hope this helps bring more clarification on the listing.

thanks,— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:1e60:8e50:997d:94:59e0:3dd6 (talk) 19:03, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

I still don't see the point. I see no evidence that it is remotly notable. It is not the job of a Wikipedia article to describe where they get their wealth, and if any of these endorsments provide revenue for teams through sponserships (this is not always the case, ussually WP:OR) then it still isn't notable, sponserships are part of 21st centuary sport, who sponsers whom at any point in a drivers career is of minimal relevance/notablability. Finally Reddit articles are not reliable and should not be used (WP:REDDIT) and WP:USEFULness and WP:INTERESTING are not valid reasons for inclusion. The reason Alonso has a endorsements section is because those endorsements are notable, these are not.

Driving Style

Grosjean, objectively, was a polarising driver. He was dangerous yet retained a seat for many years: reference Coulthard and Webber's most recent comments. He also received a race ban. This would be a relevant addition to the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.69.105.170 (talk) 02:29, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

You'd need to add reliable sources for that. Also, his ban is mentioned in the lead and 2012 section. If there were specific incidents, they could be mentioned in the relevant year sections. Joseph2302 (talk) 09:31, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

Number of podiums

It seems like there has been a mistake. The first reference is from 2009 and says Romain has been on the F1 podium 10 times which seems to be incorrect or am I missing something? 5.209.161.169 (talk) 18:11, 23 February 2022 (UTC)

I don't see any mention of F1 podiums in the first reference (https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/10-facts-about-romain-grosjean-4432024/4432024/?nrt=54). Or am I missing something? DH85868993 (talk) 04:01, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
