Kamchatka Sea edit

The Kamchatka Sea in this instance refers to the western Bering Sea. See the glossary in John Bockstoce's Whales, Ice, and Men. Twice this article has said that it refers to the Sea of Okhotsk. I hope people will read the talk page first before repeating this mistake. ST1849 (talk) 17:13, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Just looked through my copy. It's actually in the Whalers' Gazetteer of Place Names and on page 45. I'll just add a citation.ST1849 (talk) 17:19, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Tune edit

All I know is that this exact air is credited as "Old English Traditional" in the shape note tune book Shenandoah Harmony. The tune in the book is called Sussex and it is a modern tune, but the author claims the melody was an old English traditional. If there is any difference between the two airs I can't make them out and they are close enough to be effectively the same tune. 2600:1000:B113:4C87:0:4B:A69B:1B01 (talk) 19:47, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
