Like SC-55 edit
Much of the information contained herein, like the MT-32 emulation and such, does not apply specifically to the SCC-1, but to the whole Sound Canvas series. Therefore, it should be moved into the main Roland Sound Canvas article, with this one only explaining what's unique to the SCC-1. NewRisingSun (talk) 18:22, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree if those variation banks are found in most of the Sound Canvas series products, then the main Roland Sound Canvas should be revamped to include this information with this article having a heading and a link to the information.
About stand-alone use edit
"The MIDI In connection makes stand-alone usage possible leaving the user only to satisfy the power requirements". I've just tried this and it doesn't work. It seems there is more to it than simply providing power. I'm suggesting an edit but also requesting advice.Dinch (talk) 09:38, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
5pin din not 8pin edit
The SCC-1 uses 5-pin mini-DIN connectors, not 8pin. There is some Pioneer stereo unit called the SCC-1 that uses an 8-pin mini-DIN cable which is probably where the confusion arose...... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.199.113.67 (talk) 02:13, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
