I am not sure if this was a "build-it-and-leave-it" article but there are issues. It survived AFD with no consensus, and if we keep pushing other stuff we could have a Pseudo-biography on every soldier that killed a terrorist. Receiving a third-ranked award must be pretty special in some places.
I am not one to champion article deletion if a)- it improves Wikipedia, b)- follows policies and guidelines (like BLP), and c)- there is substance. However:
The article states: "Shukla was injured with a bullet wound on his right hand during the encounter and was undergoing treatment as of May 2018.". A reference used on the article is titled "Army Major who killed Hizbul terrorist Sameer Tiger currently battling for life", and goes on to state: "Shukla was admitted to an army hospital in Srinagar with chest injuries. His condition is said to be critical.". One would think there is more than a small amount of difference between a hand wound and a chest wound fighting for survival.
