There appear to be lots of Google hits for "Roe Plains" relating to the geology of the region. Unfortunately, I can't tell which ones are significant and worthy of paraphrasing, and which ones don't mean anything much. It appears to have been a key site for study of sea level and has different limestone fossils than the Nullarbor plain itself. Example pages include:
